The shop is situated in the Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre, next to the
three fishing ponds.
Please note the
A4107 is tempoarily closed as the road is falling of the side of the mountain! Traffic is being diverted through Cwmavon on
the B4286.
If you are leaving the M4 at junction 40 you will need to turn left at
the roundabout (into Port Talbot) along Abbey road turn right at the lights on to the A48 Talbot road, carry straight on past
the train station, where the road name changes to Heilbronn way. At the bus station roundabout take the third exit past
the Aberavon shopping centre at the next roundabout take the second exit towards Tesco and the Princess Royal Theatre.
Take the next left onto Cwmavon road The B4286 follow this road all the way through Cwmavon and on to pontrhydyfen. at the
t junction turnright and follow the road around under the viaduct and up the hill at the next junction turn left on to the
A4107 Afan road as normal.
From the West take junction 40 off the M4 and head for Cymmer and Maesteg. At Cymmer
turn left at the crossroads just before the garage, signposted for Glyncorrwg, through the 'Z' bends and on up the
valley for about 2 miles. On your left you will see the
three fishing ponds, take the turn on the left signposted Caravan Park, and then left into the car park.
From the East take junction
36 off the M4 and head for Maesteg.
Just on the outskirts
of Maesteg take the B4282 signposted to Garth, and follow this road under the railway (twice), straight on across the
lights by Somerfield's, up and over the hill. At Cymmer, when you reach the crossroads, go straight on towards Glyncorrwg,
through the 'Z' bends and on up the valley for about 2 miles.
On your left you will see the three fishing ponds, take the turn on the left signposted Caravan Park, and then
left into the car park.
The Hire Centre is situated in Afan Forest Park Visitors Centre (formerly Afan
Argoed.) From the M4 take junction 40 (Port Talbot) and head for Cymmer and Maesteg. Afan Forest Park Visitors Centre
is on your left.
